A particularly fragrant vintage, with ample red fruits on the palate, most predominantly berries and bright red cherries. There is a slowly evolving forest floor character, which adds an extra dimension. Texturally, the silky tannins and dancing acidity carry the flavours a long way and help a clean finish.
A balanced crop in the vineyard and textbook ripening season has led to peeled nectarine and lemon sherbet. Beautiful natural acidity makes for a focused palate which will age gracefully for 10-20 years.
Black fruit and briary notes on the nose, leading into wild blackberries and red plums on the palate. Generous yet soft tannins couples with ebullient acidity. Yum!
